Course Curriculum

Module I

Settings + Photo Editing // The opening module focuses on understanding all the modes and functions of most action cameras! From setting up time-lapses, and understanding frame rates and frame sizes to creating your own customized presets, we will take you through these processes step by step so that you can harness the full potential of your action camera before you even press the shutter!

Module II

Storytelling // The second module is a focus session on purpose. In this masterclass, we help creators better understand storytelling and how an action camera can best be used to articulate your story. Building a six-figure content business with very little gear is possible in today's world! Yet, it's primordial to learn how to stand out and break through the noise with so many creators out there! The answer to creating unique content is storytelling, and this module shares how we have managed to use an action camera to best tell ours.

Module III

Video Editing // In this module, we dive into mobile video editing in Adobe Rush. Starting with video editing fundamentals explaining J-Cuts, L-Cuts, Cutting on Action, and Match Cuts, along with the philosophy of why and when to use these skills. We further explain and look into editing strategies that stand out on social media and share content success stories from videos that have best performed on our platforms. This editing class is our most popular module, as short-form videos are the current kings of social!

Module IV

Publishing + Social Platforms // Have you finished working on a beautiful video or photo masterpiece only to upload it on social media for it to look horrific or, worse, be taken down? We’ve been there many times before. Our final masterclass module shares our knowledge of over five years of perfecting the upload, so that every piece of content looks fantastic. This has been a gleaning learning process, evolving over many iterations of firmware and new technology updates. Yet, we’ve managed to stay on top, and this final class shares our publishing and design secrets.
